Admission Policy
The RCCA admits learners of any race, color, and national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the learners at the School. The RCCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national OR ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, athletics, sport and other School-administrated programs.
Admission Procedure
·Learners undergo diagnostic testing and the results are communicated to the Parents.
·Introductory interview with Parents and learners.
·Parents and learners complete the application form.
·The application form is submitted, accompanied with documents stated on the form.
·Enrollment fees are payable and discussed on entry date.
·Parents will be committed to attend a “Parent Orientation” day as discussed during the interview.
ACE requirements for the admission of a learner to the RCCA or to different grades in the RCCA
Learners admitted to the School in Grade 0 must be six years old or turning six years old. Learners admitted to the school in Grade 1 must be seven years old or turning seven years old. All learners will undergo a diagnostic test to determine their appropriate Grade level. As far as possible, they will be placed in a fast track facility, or with his peer group, unless it is not in the educational interest of the learner. In the latter case the learner will be placed in a suitable lower grade, and an accelerated program will be worked out for the learner to enable him to catch up with the peer group as soon as possible.
